A boy was struck and killed by an Oregon City Schools bus Wednesday morning near Pickle and South Lallendorf roads in Oregon, city police said. Austin Takacs, 11, a sixth grade student at Eisenhower Middle School, was taken to St. Charles Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8 a.m., said Bob Hannon, a Lucas County coroner’s investigator.
